I want to create a spray that simulates an aerosol can. What are my options in creating a misting function?

I''ve tried poking holes in a coke can, and adding my mix inside. Failed because it was hard to replenish. Also, I've tried a pump with a pinched end. Failed because it wasn't enough of a mist.
