actually, you can get good fuel economy and good power. I saw a build of a big-block chevy motor that made almost 700 horses and still got 20mpg. just depends on how you drive it. First thing that comes to my mind is the Cadillac CTS-V. Cadillacs are reliable, relatively easy on gas, of course luxurious, the V-series make around 450 horses and handle well, Cadillacs hold their value well, and with how many I see on the road, owners must be satisfied.
