Tips on how to blindfire with the longshot in gears?

Any secrets or aiming tips? I love the blindfire and i've gotten some, but i have no idea wat i do and most of them are luck. I kno there's the dot, but idk where to put it and its really only for practice, cause a dot doesn't give u skills. It gives u the answer.
