Help with my campel dwarf hamster!!?

ok so my hamster lilo is the cutest little thing ever.most dwarfs get a bad rep for being vicious and mean but lilo isnt shes never bite any one only gave 2 warning bites because she was scared my problem with her is shes way too timid and idk what to do or how to fix it, mind you that Ive had plenty of other hamsters teddys and black bears.however never a dwarf.i know that ur suppose to try to handle her in a quiet low lit room by yourself to give her some confidence in you but it doesnt work im about to give her back.ive had her since valentines day but shes been at my aunts house because i couldnt keep her until recently.idk what to do help!!
