I have emails going into my trash folder even though they are in my address book.?

All my paypal emails as well as any from my banks with statement information. These are all in my address book and even show the little folder next to them. That is how I usually catch them, but I have to look thru everything so I don't miss anything. I have checked my filters already. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.
