Do wildcats (lions, tigers, cheetahs, leopards) cover their poop like house cats do?
Generally, no. Among wild felines, droppings are used as territorial markers - they are left uncovered so that others can see and smell that a territory is occupied. A young lion, tiger or so on that is looking for a territory of its own will cover its droppings to hide its presence from adult animals whose territory it is ping through - this is why domestic cats bury their droppings. They see humans as dominant members of the group and themselves as subordinates. Among feral domestic cats, you will see dominant cats leaving their faeces unburied whilst young or subordinate ones cover theirs.
